MK23 Wildlife Trail Q - Quite a lot of Butterflies (and Moths)
Like many of the creatures we have showcased Butterflies and Moths are also in decline, however the parks and forests of Milton Keynes give some great habitats to help them thrive here in our City.
July and August sees a butterfly and daytime moth count being taken and the photo below is all of those that are common in August when then MK23 events are taking place. If you follow this link you'll be able to find factsheets and were to submit your butterfly counts.
Check out Butterfly Spotter Guide!
This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
