MK23 Wildlife Trail V - Very nice Tulip Tree
The arboretum at Great Linford Manor Park is a little known gem and is home to an array of exotic trees from all over the world. When Milton Keynes was developing the park they took inspiration from 18th century landscape gardeners and sourced unusual specimens for our arboretum
A firm favourite the Tulip Tree flowers in early spring and it's large yellow flowers and impressive height make it a very special tree to visit. The arboretum also has an array of cedars, ginkos, maples, limes, redwoods and an Indian Bean tree amongst others.

This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
