Toowoomba has numerous streets whose continuity is interrupted - by a railway, a hill, a highway/freeway etc. The street arrives at the obstacle, then continues beyond it with the same name. Sometimes there is a track over or through the obstacle. In this particular case, rather than an awkward intersection crossing over a busy, steep hill, the street is stopped short, only to continue on the other side of the busy street.
When accessing the GZ, do not stop or park in Baker Street! Make your way around to the Waypoint in Gorman Street, where you can park safely.
