An area with a nice view, just off of a footpath that takes you from the moor towards Meldon reservoir dam.
Parking is up to you. Suggested locations include the car park at the reservoir (payable) or at the roadside at Prewley. Or park further away and enjoy the walk!
The ground here and along the footpath gets wet in the winter, but walking boots usually ok. The approach from Prewley can be wetter - veer towards the tor for a time for dryer ground!
I've only ever seen sheep grazing in this area, but there are cattle and ponies from whichever direction you approach.
