Good caches bring smiles to finders' faces as well as their map. I hope that many of my caches in the area have done that.
Creating and hiding a geocache can be simple,
Have an idea. Find a good location. Get good coordinates and permission. Submit. Maintain.
At this event, we will briefly review that process. We will point out some locations that might support more cache hides.
But the activity will be looking at a variety of ways of making simple fun cache containers by adding decoration, attaching magnets or hooks to hide them differently, and using unusual hosts. Simple but fun. Attendees might take some of these home to hide themselves. I will have small containers to create small caches. But more likely, I will end up placing them in the woods to be found later.
As a bonus, we will also talk about how to make your own stamp for letterbox hybrids using pink erasers but the detail work there takes time.

This is a Maker Magic event and attending will earn the Maker Magic souvenir.
