The Israel Freedom Fighters (known by its initials Lehi) was a Hebrew underground in the Land of Israel, which operated against the British Mandate, from 1940 until the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
The monument commemorates the names of three people from the organization who were "the gallows victims" a phrase referring to people who were executed for their activities for the people of Israel.
