Nagasaki City Hall will move to the new government building in January 2023. This cache is hidden by the new government building.The old government building was built after the war and had deteriorated. In addition, there were many annexes, and there was an aspect that sufficient administrative services were not provided.The top floor is open to the public as an observatory floor.
このキャッシュは、2023年1月に運用を開始した長崎市役所新庁舎にのそばに隠されています。
この場所には、長崎市公会堂が建てられていました。長崎市公会堂は１９６２年（昭和３７年）に開館した文化ホールで、長崎市出身の武基雄氏（早稲田大学教授）が設計を行っています。数々のコンサート、舞台、講演会などが行われ、公会堂前広場は長崎くんちの奉納踊り会場のひとつとして、期間中は桟敷席が組まれ、出し物が披露されていました。また、長崎市公会堂は、「日本における近代建築100選」に選ばれていました。
老朽化のため、2015年（平成27年）に閉館し、53年の歴史に幕を下ろしました。
