Golden Mile Tower

Golden Mile Tower was completed around 1976 and is considered a brutalist architecture in Singapore. However the rounded edges and corners of the building gave a slight twist to the brutalism design, which in my opinion made it look 'cute' ;p
The building used to house one of Singapore's largest cinema, Golden Cinema. Currently, there are 2 cinemas in operation at Golden Mile Tower: Carnival Cinemas and The Projector.
With its neighbour, Golden Mile Complex's closure and eventual 'restoration', Golden Mile Tower might not be spared from a similar future as its existence is threatened by an en bloc relaunch which happened in April 2023. This is one of the reasons why I have decided to place a geocache here, with the hope to share this beautiful building with fellow geocachers! The other reason is because...
...The Projector was where my husband and I tied the knot ;) This cache was placed in commemoration of our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We hope you will like the theater, carpark, view, wind, and the vibes as much as we do!
Updates (August 2025)
It's heartbreaking to hear that The Projector ceased operations on 19 August 2025, after opening their doors in 2014. About the geocache
Cache container is somewhat related to the theatre. I absolutely love the 'squeezing' mechanism ^^ Also, have a guess which floor GZ is at! There are multiple ways to reach GZ so happy exploring :p
