A quick bit of history of what was once at GZ. Between the late 1890s and the early 1960s a house stood on this site. Initially a private residance known as Cliff Cottage, it changed ownership several times and after the second world war the building became the Splash Point Hotel until it's closure in the late 1950s. The remaining brickwork around the area marks the boundary of the grounds.
I'll bring a book with me that details the history and has some fascinating photographs.
