Celebrating the other City of London at the Crosse Keys pub on Gracechurch Street. Everyone is invited to the geo-event on Friday, 8th September from 5pm to 7.30pm.
On a recent caching road trip of the USA I discovered that there is another City of London, this one is in Laurel County, Kentucky. With a population of 8,000 people (about the capacity of this pub) it's apparently famous for the annual World Chicken Festival. It may have something to do that the neighbouring town is where the first KFC restaurant opened. Talking of chicken - fried chicken will be on the menu and other hot food and a selection of hot and cold drinks. The Crosse Keys is a very busy pub and big.
