This Cache
The cache is NOT at the posted coordiantes! In order to find the correct coordinates, you will need to download and play the Wherigo cartridge found here: GMT!'s June Wherigo!
This geocache is a "Play Anywhere" Wherigo, which means you can play it from anywhere! When you launch the Wherigo, you will be subject to a gruelling "test" about your knowledge of the month of June 😱. The "test" will NOT be easy and will test your abilities to research answers! If you have access to the Library of Congress, famous historians, members of genius clubs, or Italian Beef sandwiches, all would be VERY uesful in completing the cartridge (Note: Italian Beef sandwiches don't have anything directly to do with the cache, but life is always better with the world's most delicious sandwich...)
Note as a bonus, finding this cache will place an AMAZING geo-art on your map-- the Jefferson Period! It's one of just a few cutting-edge, punctuation based geo-arts in the Metro area!
When you complete the Wherigo, you will be given three things:
- The coordinates for the final cache
- A strong hint for the find
- A Certitude passcode
Technically, you do not need the Certitude passcode, but entering the code and using the Certitude functionality is an easier method of updating the final coords on your personal cache page! Use it if you like, ignore if you choose!
This cache has been tested on Android and Apple Devices. It's behavior is not known on Wherigo-Enabled GPSr devices....
