When I first started geocaching, I found a cache by LaughingGravy titled "Hide What You Like to Find." I don't remember the cache itself, but that idea stuck in my mind and comes up when I think about hiding something new. So let's talk about hiding what you like to find - geocaches! We'll have both new and experienced cache creaters in the audience, everyone can participate with questions and answers.
Topics will include: picking a cache type, selecting a location, choosing a container, decorating your cache, adhesives, creating a cache page, setting out a series with a theme, and maintaining your cache. I'd also like to share any CO experiences about what has gone well and if/what has gone wrong.
I will have some cache containers (and zip ties!) at the event for anyone to take home and a few giveaways. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on the 24th!
