Located at the beautiful Arvada (Blunn) Reservoir, this geocache is located along the paved upper sidewalk that goes around the reservoir. Enjoy the views of mountains, the water, and downtown Denver in the distance to the east. Along the way you may also see some wildlife, Elk, Deer, Rabbits, Eagles, Cormorants, Geese, Ducks, and Ospreys. As with any outdoor adventure in Colorado, be aware of your surroundings and watch out for snakes.
You will walk into the tree-lined area on the path until you see a bridge.
the cache is a nano magnetic that does not require you to leave the path.
Note: You will need to enter Arvada Blunn Reservoir to access this cache, open 7am to 7pm daily.
You will drive down to the lower ranger station and advise the rangers you are only walking. There is no fee to park and walk around the reservoir. Have fun!
