Church Micro 14813...Hewish
Welcome to The Church of the Good Shepherd, Hewish. Originally a Chapel of Ease built in 1868, the building has been Grade II listed since 1987.

Architecture
The building is made of ham stone cut and squared with ashlar dressings. It's roof is made of clay, beaver-tail tiles and has a saw tooth ridge. There are hollow-chamber mullioned windows on the front with lead lights, and a porch on the east side in the gothic revival style. Above the porch is a bell turry holding a bell.
Interior
The interior includes simple pews and a nineteenth century octagonal panelled stone font.
The Cache
To find the cache please go to the headline co-ordinates which should take you to the front of the chapel gates. From here:
A) = The number of large window panes on both sides of the front of the building.
B) = The number of bells in the tower.
C) = The number of crosses on the roof.

Now go and find the cache, which is around the entrance of a nearby footpath. You are looking for a camo-covered plastic button jar. The log book is double-potted inside a film cannister.
