These four young women rock. Named after the neighbourhood around Toronto, their 1970s guitar rock vibe combines with a glam and garage sound. Their hilarious videos, poignant lyrics about gender, romance (or lack thereof), societal game-playing, and thrift store high-fashion sensibilities have provided them with many accolades, including opening for the Rolling Stones and Foo Fighters, being promoted by Elton John on his radio show, and playing at the 2019 Grey Cup festivities.
