It's that time again! Every spring our meadow needs to be cleaned up. Once again it is time to WHACK those WEEDS. We usually hold this event earlier in the spring, but as you know, it has been raining a lot. I know that July is late in the year, and it will likely be hot, but someone has to do it. I hope you will be that someone!
We will meet in the parking lot and hike out 2 miles to the work site. Last year, Linda, from the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy hauled the equipment out to the site and back. Unfortunately, the rains have have damaged the road so the equipment can only be taken out about half way. We will have to carry it in the rest of the way. I know what you are thinking "Gosh Feral Kat, this is soundng better and better!"
As usual, wear appropriate clothing (long sleeves and pants) hats, bring sun screen and lots of water. Hope to see you there.
