This cache has been archived.

Northern Trekker: Due to the brushing of this past fall (to ready the place for winter snow storage along the streets) this cache is being archived. I will re-establish this cache in a new location and under a new name soon.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on private property so please be respectful to the owner. You have permission to visit this cache but please do not climb on the rocks. To get to the cache you needn’t go onto the property however please enjoy the views, the gardens and the wildlife.

You are encouraged to visit this site in the summer and winter. The winter views are best at night to see the Christmas lights which accent the falls. In the summer months it is best to visit during the daylight (HA! - it's always daylight in the summer!) when the falls splash into the two ponds that are stocked with hundreds of goldfish. The flower gardens are best July and August. The backyard kitchen garden is featured in July 2003 edition of Sunset magazine on page 62. The cache container is homemade and fitting for this four-season cache. Let me know what you think of the container!I have reviewed the maps that are offered and none are accurate for this area. It is best to turn on your GPS and drive, letting your GPS guide the way - just like the way Santa uses Rudolph's nose!
