The Waitete stream is a beautiful, hidden spot. It's a lovely walk along the stream and if you go right to the end you will find an open picnic/swimming area. You will be able to find, Mānuka, Māhoe, Harakeke, Toetoe, Cabbage tree, and you should also find some native trees.
