This cache is part of a series named after wild berries that are found in the area. Not all are recommended as edible. If you are not sure,
don't pick it....don't eat it!
Salmonberries are edible. They have a sweet flavour, but not as sweet as wild raspberries. First Nations people have picked salmonberies for thousands of years! When the salmonberries ripen, it is a marker that the spring salmon run will soon begin
