Geocache Description:

Folks say Keene has ghosts around here. Well, years ago, William "Hill Billy" Santos lived back in the hills and brewed moonshine. He used to haul it in an old truck and was never without his trusty rifle and ammo can. His grandson, Theodore, eventually inherited that old truck. Theodore's nickname wasn't Ted or Teddy. It was Todos. Todos Santos was always looking for an excuse to drive that old truck. He entered it every year in Tehachapi's Thunder on the Mountain Car Show.

Todos was a stubborn fella, never gave up on anything. When geocaching came along, he loved to drive that old moonshine truck to all the local caches. He also packed a gun and granddad's ammo can.

In 2017 a cache was published just up the street called Pinocchio's Nose. You can look it up GC731ZP. Todos went out to find it with his truck and gun and ammo can. Thing was he couldn't find it. So he got up the next day at dawn, searched until dusk, grabbed his 36" extreme tactical flashlight and searched some more. This went on the next day and the next. One day he was so into the hunt he forgot to drink water and died of heat exhaustion right there in his truck.

This cache is placed using Hill Billy's original ammo can that grandson Todos had with him that day he died, so don't swipe it or replace it with some pill bottle. Now if you look out across the street you can see Theodore, still sitting there in his granddad's truck. This cache is in his memory so if you mark down a DNF he's going to haunt you until you find it.
