Shaul's Castle
This cache was inspired by Shaul! And I’m not talking about Shaul the biblical king but Saul the dog! Shaul is an active member of Geocacher Israel.
The location of the cache is in a hidden corner that Shaul really likes and on one of our trips, Shaul run away to his own adventure and I found him at this amazing location.
The Cache:
The cache itself is not very usual.
An object will reveal a regular size container. At first glance the object appears to be a common object for this area of the Gilboa mountain.
There is a stereotype that dogs like Shaul should love this object but in fact it’s not very healthy for them.
The object itself is placed In plain sight, try to pick it up and find the Cache. Find the object and find the Cache! Please return the cache exactly as you found it and don’t forget to cover your tracks.
The cache is in an amazing spot in the Gilboa mountain. This area is full of life - you can spot cows, Gazelles, Jackals and a variety of birds ! I recommend to park at "Nurit position" and to have a nice hike to the cache.

הטירה של שאול!
מטמון זה נוצר בהשראתו של שאול! ואין הכוונה לשאול המלך אלא שאול הכלב! שאול הוא חלק מפעיל מצוות גיאוקאשר ישראל.
מיקום הקאש נמצא בפינה נסתרת שאותה שאול מאוד אוהב. באחד הטיולים שלנו, שאול החליט שהוא בורח להרפתקה משלו ומצאתי אותו בנקודה זו.
המטמון:
המטמון עצמו אינו רגיל במיוחד ונחשב לייחודי.
חפשו חפץ שיחשוף מטמון בגודל רגיל. במבט ראשון נראה כחפץ נפוץ לאזור זה של הגלבוע.
יש סטריאוטיפ שכלבים כמו שאול אמורים לאהוב את החפץ הזה אבל למעשה הוא לא מאוד בריא עבורם.
החפץ עצמו מונח על הקרקע, נסו להרים אותו ומצאו את המטמון. מצאו את החפץ ומצאו את המטמון! אנא החזירו את המטמון בדיוק כפי שמצאתם אותו וטשטשו את עקבותיכם.
המטמון נמצא במקום מדהים בהר הגלבוע. אזור זה מלא חיים - אתם יכולים לראות פרות, צבאים, תנים ומגוון ציפורים ועופות דורסים! מומלץ לחנות ב"חניון נורית" ולעשות טיול רגלי נחמד למטמון.
