I was out doing maintenance on one of my hides when I decided to do some exploration and I stumbled across this spot. There appears to have been some sort of rock wall at this location. I don't think the rocks would be stacked in this manner naturally. I speculate that perhaps this rock wall was placed here as some sort of livestock corral used by ranchers in the area. Correct me if I'm wrong and feel free to let me know if you have more insight about the history of the area. I thought it was a good spot to hide a geocache.
Parking is at the Iron Canyon Trailhead and it is a short walk to this location. $1 and a trackable for FTF to move along if he or she chooses to do so. Bring your own pen in case the one inside is out of ink. Watch out for snakes and bring plenty of water on hot days. Good luck!
Congratulations to 415pilot for the FTF!
