The Earthcache Challenge Trail

This series of caches are challenge caches and are at the posted coordinates. A challenge cache requires you to have fulfilled a specific task before logging it as a find.  

Being a huge fan of earthcaches I decided to hide a few challenge caches for those like me who have a passion for them. EarthCaches provide amazing earth science lessons and usually they lead you to an interesting place where you get to learn about the world around you. These challenge caches are meant to do just that - challenge you to get out and find more earthcaches. 

Logging requirements

1. In order to log this cache, you can do one of the following:

• Provide the output of the Project-GC Challenge checker
• Provide the GC code of each found cache that helps meet the criteria
• Provide a screen shot of your public stats. 

2. You may sign the log of the cache anytime, however you must meet the criteria indicated above before you can enter a "Found It" log.

3. I will validate the statistics. Found Logs not providing the required criteria, will be deleted without notice.

The Challenge

To qualify for this challenge You Must have found five earthcaches whose sum total of difficulty and terrain equal 35 or more.

Wards Falls Trail

This is a 6.6km out and back trail with many wooden bridges and a fantastic waterfall (about 20 ft. high) at the end of the trail.  It is considered a moderate route and will take an average of 2 hours (return). The trail to Wards Falls is shared by hikers and horses.

Caution: The condition of this trail will vary throughout the year - be prepared for extremely wet conditions.
