Welcome to the pinecone series of challenges - some people love them, other people hate them. Depending on where you live, this one could require a lot of travel. Arizona has a very deep ditch not too far north of Flagstaff, and we tend to be very proud of the Grand Canyon. The average depth of the canyon from the rim to the river is about 1 mile.
This series is accessible from exit 333 if you're northbound or exit 337 if you're southbound on I-17. The cache is located 153 feet at 214 degrees true from the posted coordinates. There is a special logging requirement. You’re welcome to sign it (bring your own pencil!) and post a note at any time, but you cannot claim a find unless you qualify. The D/T is based on the challenge. The hide is 1.5/2.0
Finds that do not meet the challenge requirement will be deleted without warning.

You must have already found a pair of caches in five different counties (or county equivalents) where the pair of caches are separated by 1 mile (5280 ft) or more of elevation.
Use the checker to confirm your qualifications. While it's not required, it would be nice if you include the listing from the Project-GC Checker in your log entry.
