Geocache Description:

This ammo can cache, is located in a State Park on the St. Lawrence River. Park at the nature center. Many trails start there.

Ya know the good ol' trick question: How many of each animal did Moses take on the ark with him? Most people, without thinking, will answer 2. Wrong! Noah had the ark.

Well, we have managed to FIND Moses' lost ark, complete with the animals! The ark must have partially sunk, and the abundance of animals on it gave reason to make it a State Park.

Similarly to Moses parting the waters of the Red Sea, you will have to part the waters of the St. Lawrence River to get to this cache. That part should not be very hard.

There are many activities at the Nature Center. Please take a look at the Nature Centers web site, and plan on bringing the family and sharing the day.

The nature centers web address is......... http://www.rmspnaturecenter.org

Justin of Team Slacker first placed this cache. This cache was later adopted by kaseyburrell98

I have left some trackable "Northern New York Geocachers" geocoins in the cache. Please log them so we can follow their travels. Below is the web address for the "Northern New York Geocachers" Web-site and the geocoin tracking site.

NOTICE and WARNING. This container is an official geocache, and has been hidden here so that other people may enjoy finding it, and then leave it for others to find after them. Cachers never remove someone’s geocache without the owner's permission. If you remove a cache container without permission, you are STEALING. This is a crime in New York State. We call it larceny. If you are convicted of any grade of larceny offense, you will have a permanent criminal record that will be entered in the New York and FBI’s national databases.

When an owner places a cache on public lands, the cache remains the property of the owner. The fact that it is placed on public land does not make it fair game for anybody to take. Think about it: if I leave my bike at a public park, and you take it, you are still stealing my bike.

So please be warned: more and more cache owners are taking steps to protect their caches. This cache may be subject to video surveillance. If you are seen taking or damaging this cache, or conspiring with others to do so, you can be criminally charged for this activity, regardless of your age. It is not funny, it is not a prank, and it is not OK. Please don’t do it. Other people like to have fun hunting for these caches, so please just leave this one alone. It is the right thing to do. Thank you.
