Roll up, Roll up .. let's fly the Flag!
August 19th is International Geocaching Day 2023, so roll up, roll up for a day of geocaching, geochat and laughter as well as earning yourself the IGD 2023 souvenir.

Kick-off is at 12:30 and we expect to be wrapping things up around 17:00 - but hey! ... it's a pub so you can stay longer if you want.
For your delight, 4 hand pulled real ales are always available on a rotating basis as well as a bank of regular draft lagers, and ales. Soft drinks, bar snacks, tea and coffee etc are also available.

We will meet in the front bar area immediately in front of you as you come in the rear door and if that's full the other bar area is to the right as you come in the rear door. There is also plenty of outdoor seating (some covered) to use if the weather is fine or the pub is full!
Well behaved dogs are welcome and Watson the resident hound will look forward to meeting them!

As the George's pies are home made the landlord has asked for an indication of how many want pies, what variety of pie, and at roughly what time so please note in your "Will Attend" log said information if you wish to eat.

We hope to see all the usual suspects there but equally as important, new geocachers are particularly welcome who can be assured of a warm reception and a chat about all things Geocaching related which will be readily given (especially after a few beers).
It is also hoped that some new caches will be published on Friday evening ready for the event.
