The Great Trail consists of 24,000 kms of multi-use trails which connect and stretch across Canada from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island and up to the Northwest Territories. It is truly our trans Canada trail and apparently 4 out of 5 Canadians live within 30 minutes of it. The New Tecumseth section is covered with pea gravel and skirts beautiful farmland. No motorized vehicles are allowed so enjoy walking, biking, skiing or snowshoeing this great trail.
Most of us appreciate symmetry, round numbers, a continuous chain. There has been a gap in this rail trail series for far too long. While doing a maintenance run, my attention drifted to solving this problem and this cache is the end product.
