CLUB ALPINO ELDENSE

Feliz geocaching¡

1-Petrer Hiking Center. GC9WNM2 Perrió Refuge.
2-Eldense Hiker Center. GCA6811 Rabosa. Daniel Esteve Mountain Park.

THE CACHE
The cache is medium in size, contains logbook, pencil, and trade items.
It is not within the CAE premises, although it is very close.
The attempts to place the cache in the vicinity of the Club showed us that it was not a good place due to the frequent traffic of people and cars in the area, so we decided to move it away a bit and make it more mountaineering since it is a mountain club. .
The cache is in the Sierra de la Torreta and from its location you can see the headquarters of the Eldense Alpine Club.
THE ELDENSE ALPINE CLUB HISTORY
The Eldense Alpine Club emerged in 1976 as a split from the climbing section of the Eldense Hiking Center.
Operation ATLAS-71 was possibly the seed of the Eldense Alpine Club. It was carried out by climbers from the Eldense Hiking Center who years later would found the Eldense Alpine Club.
This is how the CAE tells it:
“A few years ago in 1976, part of those who are today directors of our society and together with other partners decided to found the Eldense Alpine Club to give all those interested the opportunity to have more fluid goals within mountaineering and with new perspectives. , at the same time as being able to bring together all those who love Nature, understand The Mountain as a sport understood with all its particularities, new friendships. Over the years our society took shape, grew and established its mountaineering philosophy”
We hope you have enjoyed the search and also to know the mountain clubs in the area
