Murray 2 Power Station is located south of Khancoban.
Construction was started in 1966 and finished 1969
This is a hiden lookout that is not very well known at all so I thought It was my duty to get people here to marvel at the greatness that is Murray 2 power station.
Murray 2 power station is fed by the water discharged from Murray 1 Power Station (further up the Alpine way towards Thredbo ) then into the murray 2 dam, which then comes through the huge white pipes into the turbines within the staion, It makes power then feds into the Khancoban dam.
