Out for Zero Traditional Geocache

You are standing by what was Cloddfa'r Coed slate quarry. Workings started here in the late-eighteenth century, it was worked intermittently until well into the twentieth century but output was very small. In the 1940s it was acquired by Dorothea Quarry but they never worked the site. The quarry has since been landscaped and today is a haven for nature and dog walkers.
