Medium sized cache on the boundary of the historic fire station grounds.
The Maryborough Fire Station was built on a heritage site and officially opened on 20th January 1951.
The fire service has been a large part of Maryborough's history. It is still a fully functional, operational fire station.
It is crewed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The present day fire station also provides the community with many specialist services, such as Heavy Rescue and Hazmat.
In 2023 the fire station and regional offices had a major upgrade. It is the only fire station in Australia made from timber. It is the flagship of the QFES in the region.
When you see the fire truck around town, make sure you give us a wave!
This cache is managed by professional fire crews.
