Suvun Aarre Traditional Cache

"Vaikka ne perkeleet polttaisivat koko kirotun pitäjän niin aarretta ne eivät löydä!"

Silmäsi lepäävät sukuni vanhan piilopirtin raunioissa. Sotien jälkeen keskelle metsää rakennettiin hirrestä turvapaikka, piilossa uteliailta silmiltä ja katseilta.

Vuosikymmeniä täällä elettiin sulassa sovussa luonnon kanssa. Tiettömien teiden takana, kartoittamattomassa erämaassa.

Aika toi kuitenkin muutoksen matkallaan ja valtatie Humppilan pitäjästä Punkalaitumen metropoliin aukesi kulkemaan juuri piilopirttimme viereltä.

Pikkuhiljaa paikalliset maatierosvot kuulivat huhua varakkaasta askeettisesti elävästä erakoituneesta perheestä ja päättivät pistäytyä vierailulle. Kohtaaminen oli pitkä, verinen ja kohtalokas. Lopputulemana pirtistä jäi savuavat hiiltyneet rauniot, kiviset perustukset ja vankasti muurattu savupiippu.

Nyt jäljellä on enää lämpimät muistot, rauniot ja ränsistynyt pihapiiri. Kylällä juoruavat tänäkin päivänä, että aarre on täällä jossain. Koskaan sitä ei ole kukaan löytänyt.

Saapuessasi kätkölle kakkostien eli Humppilan suunnasta voit pysäköidä autosi tien oikealla puolella olevalle bussipysäkille. Ethän kuitenkaan jätä autoasi niin, että se estäisi pääsyn viereiselle pellolle. Lähellä oleva keltainen maatalo on tietoinen kätköstä ja sen sijainnista. Kätkön ympärillä tehdään myöskin maa- ja metsätöitä toisinaan, olethan tarkkaavainen liikkuessasi.

Keltainen talo on lapsuudenkotini ja tästä syystä kätkö on sijoitettu lähelle tärkeää ja rakasta paikkaa.

Your eyes rest on the remains of my familys hidden cabin. After the war a safe heaven was built into the middle of the forest out of timber.  Away from curious eyes and views.

For decades they lived here in peace with nature. In the unmapped wilderness.

Time brought change along the way. The highway from Humppila to Punkalaidun was built right next to our hidden cabin.

Over time the local highwaymen sound rumors about a rich asceticly living hermit family and desided to pay a visit. The encounter wad long, bloody and fateful. In the end all that was left of the cabin was smoking ruins, rocky foundation and strong chimney made out of tiles.

Now all that is left are sweet memories, ruins and yard and garden that have seen better days. Townsfolk rumour that the treasure is still here somewhere. No one has ever found it.

Could you be the one who finds the treasure and returns it to its rightfull owner?

The Cache was released on midsummers fest or jussi in finnish. Also Jussi's name day.

When you arrive here by care from interstate 2 of in other word from Humppila heading to Punkalaidun you can park your car on the bus stop on the rigth side of the road close by to the cache. It is next to a road way to one of our fields so please leave enough room for tractors to move etc.

The yellow house is my childhood home and this is the reason why the Cache is placed close to a special and very dear place for me.
