Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of the Fargo-Moorhead GeoTour, the first official GeoTour in the states of Minnesota & North Dakota. Now it is a Traditional cache and a little bit of an etymology lesson and who does not want to learn more about the background of words? If you answered “Me”, you can skip this next part.

Theatre is the common spelling in the United Kingdoms, while Theater is more common here in the United States. Both spellings are rooted in the Greek word theatron, “a place of seeing.” Both spellings are excepted in the US, with ‘theatre’ often being used with stage performances given before an audience.

If a show is scheduled the parking lots will be full and it would be best to come back at a more convenient time.
