Geocache Description:

[ENG] Ruins of the Tatar Bath

Șer al-Gedid (New Town; sometimes Shehr al Jedid or Yanghi Shehr) was a Tatar city supposedly built towards the end of the 13th century on the rocky shore of Răut (today near the town of Trebujeni, Republic of Moldova), during the heyday of the Golden Horde.

According to some sources, in the period 1363–65, the Old Orhei was the residence of the future leader of the Horde, Abdullah Khan (1367–68).
