The Ian Fleming's James Bond series of geocaches is to honor the amazing original books (not the movies). It is placed along a section of General Crook trail originating from the Rim Trailhead. Designed for biking, this powertrail is spaced .25-.5 miles between geocaches (because 0.1 mile spacing on a bike is very tedious).
The fifth book in the series, From Russia, With Love is one of my favorite Ian Fleming Bond books. The first section of the book involves a conspiracy by the Sovient organization SMERSH to trap and kill Bond, and the latter part involves the execution and failure of the plot, although Bond nearly dies in the book. Having many notable characters, including Darko Kerim, Red Grant, and Rosa Kleb, it is one of his better books. The movie, starring Sean Connery, is one of the best Bond movies, and is the closest in plot to the book of any movie. It also becomes the basis for the Walter PPK which Bond will eventually carry.
