The Ian Fleming's James Bond series of geocaches is to honor the amazing original books (not the movies). It is placed along a section of General Crook trail originating from the Rim Trailhead. Designed for biking, this powertrail is spaced .25-.5 miles between geocaches (because 0.1 mile spacing on a bike is very tedious).

Live and Let DIe is Fleming's second James Bond Novel. It is set in London, Harlem, St. Petersburg, and Jamaica. It involves colloboration with Felix Leiter, who unfortunately ends up horrifically maimed: "He disagreed with something that ate him." It also emphasizes a significant difference between the novels and the movies: in the latter Bond escapes unscathed with the girl, whereas in the novel he spends several weeks in the hospital recovering from his injuries. It is another story where SMERSH, the Russian counterintelligence agency plays a significant role. It is very racist by today's standards. Nonetheless, it served to further develop Bond's character, and introduced several notable characters, including Solitair, Quarrel, and John Strangways; the latter two figure prominently in the later book Dr. No.
The geocache is hidden about 1/2 mile from the traihead.
