The Ian Fleming's James Bond series of geocaches is to honor the amazing original books (not the movies). It is placed along a section of General Crook trail originating from the Rim Trailhead. Designed for biking, this powertrail is spaced .25-.5 miles between geocaches (because 0.1 mile spacing on a bike is very tedious).
On Her Majesty's Secret Service, or OHMSS is Fleming's tenth James Bond Novel. In some ways it is like two novels, and covers the longest time period. The beginning has Bond, tired of searching for the remains of SPECTRE and Ernst Stavro Blofed meeting, Tracy, his eventual wife. Later, he resumes the search, finds Blofeld, and narrowly escapes in a truly amazing skiing downhill sequence. He then returns to destory the installation at Pez Gloria, but Blofeld escapes after an amazing bobsled chase. The book ends with Bond marrying Tracy, only to have her killed by Blofeld. The movie version was the only one to star George Lazenby: fortunately Sean Connery returned for the next movie.
The geocache is hidden about 1.75 miles from the traihead. It is a bit further off the trail than most of the series.
