OPJIM placed Bike & Hike Letterbox in 2016. One October evening, he drove to the trailhead to ride the trail. A car parked nearby was inhabited by a hippie dude with waist length hair but younger than OPJIM. When OPJIM unpacked his mountain bike, he was greeted with an enthusiastic "COOL BEANS" response from said dude.
OPJIM proceeded down the trail and checked on the geocache. Halfway back, OPJIM was greeted by said hippie dude riding an old bike towards him. Since then, this has always been the "Cool Beans" trail.
To find this letterbox, bike or hike down the 235 road bike trail. After the first fork, you will see a meadow to the east. About the time you reach the end of the meadow you will reach the posted coordinates, dismount and look for a large 6X3 rock to the west. Here you will find Cool Beans (less than 50 feet away). Please replace the container upright, not lying on the side, so the contents remain dry.
