Baker Mansion once the private residence of Elias and Hetty Baker is now a history museum. The mansion is believed to be haunted.
Baker Mansion was built as a Greek-Revival style home in 1849 at a cost of $15,000. Elias Baker was the owner of the Allegheny furnace. The Blair County Historical Society opened the building as a museum in 1922 and purchased the building in 1941 from the Baker heirs.
