את.ה מחפש.ת פה מיקרוקאש, אבל האם ידעת שכבר לפני כמעט 100 שנים היה פה קאש גדול מימדים? למזלנו הוא מעולם לא התגלה.
בשנות ה30 וה40 של המאה הקודמת, ארגון ההגנה חילק את רמת השרון ל-4 איזורים כחלק מתוכניות ההגנה על היישוב. לכל איזור היה "סליק", מחסן נשק בו היו מאוחסנים כדורים, רובים ושאר כלי נשק לעת הצורך. הסליקים מוקמו ונבנו בצורה כזו שחיפושי נשק של הצבא הבריטי ייכשלו לאתר אותם. כל סליק היה בעצם Cache מוחבא היטב, בד"כ מתחת למרצפות בית משפחה, כאשר המשפחה אחראית על תיחזוקו ופתיחתו בעת הצורך. בעלי סליק לא ידעו על סליקים אחרים ביישוב ורק קומץ אנשים ידע איפה כל הסליקים נמצאים ברמת השרון.
הקאש המקורי לפני 100 שנה היה גדול מספיק להכיל רובים בעמידה ומעליהם מדף עם קופסאות כדורים ורימוני יד.

During the 1930s and 1940s the Haganah paramilitary organization divided Ramat Hasharon into 4 sections as part of its defense plans for the community. Each section had its own "Slik", an hidden armory, where bullets, guns and other weaponry were stored for times of need. The Sliks were carefully positioned and constructed so that search efforts by the british army for weapons would fail to locate them.
Each of these "Sliks" was a well hidden weapons cache, usually under the floor tiles of a family home with the family being in charge of maintaining it and opening it in times of need. "Slik" owners had no knowledge of other Sliks in the community and only a handful of people knew where all the Sliks in Ramat Hasharon were located.
The original cache here was large enough to hold guns standing upright with a shelf of ammo boxes and grenades on top of them.
