This cache - Miami Marlins

The franchise began play as an expansion team as the Florida Marlins. The Marlins originally played home games at Joe Robbie Stadium, which they shared with the National Football League (NFL)'s Miami Dolphins. In 2012, the team moved to LoanDepot Park (then known as Marlins Park), their first exclusive home and the first to be designed as a baseball park.

There are no players in the Baseball Hall of Fame wearing a Marlin's uniform.   A current star is Luis Arráez.  He signed with the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent in 2013, and made his MLB debut with them in 2019. In 2022, Arráez was an All-Star and won the American League batting title and a Silver Slugger Award. In the 2022–2023 offseason, the Twins traded him to the Marlins.
