The Church of Fjällbacka
The church, which is the first on the site, was built in 1892 in neo-Gothic style. From the beginning, the congregation wanted to build the church out of wood, but since the area was poor in forests, a wooden church would not be that much cheaper than a stone church.
The material was instead red Bohus granite, which was quarried on site. Architect was Adrian C. Peterson. The church consists of a nave, a five-sided narrower chancel in the east and a church tower in the west. The sacristy is housed in the eastern part of the choir behind a screen wall. The armory is located on the ground floor of the tower. To the northeast of the church, immediately below the church hill, is the cemetery, which was inaugurated in 1907 and expanded in 1970.
Outside the entrance to the church since 2009 stands the sculpture Pålarne by sculptor Pål Svensson and watercolor painter Arne Isacsson. It is made of Bohus granite in different color shades and glass-laminated watercolor monotypes.
Fjällbacka Kyrka
Kyrkan som är den första på platsen uppfördes 1892 i nygotisk stil. Från början ville församlingen bygga kyrkan av trä men eftersom trakten var fattig på skog skulle en kyrka av trä inte bli så mycket billigare än en kyrka av sten.
Materialet blev istället röd bohusgranit som bröts på platsen. Arkitekt var Adrian C. Peterson. Kyrkan består av ett långhus, ett femsidigt smalare kor i öster och ett kyrktorn i väster. Sakristian är inrymd i korets östra del bakom en skärmvägg. Vapenhuset ligger i tornets bottenvåning.Nordost om kyrkan, omedelbart nedanför kyrkberget, ligger kyrkogården som invigdes 1907 och utvidgades 1970.
Utanför ingången till kyrkan står sedan 2009 skulpturen Pålarne av skulptören Pål Svensson och akvarellmålaren Arne Isacsson. Den är gjord av bohusgranit i olika färgnyanser och glaslaminerade akvarellmonotypier.
