There's a bird hide further up the track. There are usually lots of birds there making the most of the goodies available. If you have the time, do wander on up.
I walked the track to the sanctuary and back, looking for a suitable place to hide a cache. At last I found the perfect spot. Hey what's that? A cache! That's not the first place that's happened to me only this time there was no smilie face as a reward. It seems someone hid a cache here and for some reason or other it didn't get published. As it was such a perfect spot I used it and just for fun I also used the container and log book. Yes, the log book does show evidence of being in the bush for six plus years but I just thought I'd share a little history.
