July 15 is Give Something Away Day. We have a few geocaching items to give away. Since it’s also National Gummi Worm Day and National Be A Dork Day our dorky selves will bring some gummi worms, too. We will put on a pot of coffee for the coffee drinkers.
Before and after the event enjoy a quaint little village platted in 1838. Visit the shops. Have lunch and/or dinner in a local restaurant. Play Trough Golf. Ride the train.
We are meeting in a church built in 1853. Please enter through the side entrance. There is parking behind the building. If you park on Main Street it’s a short walk to the event.
I’m visiting from Kentucky for a few weeks. I want to learn more about puzzles and multi-caches. Thanks to TeamPatchwork and PawfiaMom for co-hosting.
If you’re driving on 44 between Rushville and 74 you will find some gadget caches.
To answer the question of whether to bring anything to give away, that is totally not required, but feel free to bring items. If you want to bring something that isn't geocaching related we are meeting in the room that holds the food and essential needs pantry for the comunity.
