Geocache Description:

While visiting our son in Seattle a few years ago we discovered these Little Free Libraries that people had put up in there neighborhoods. We thought this was a great idea and our grandson loved visiting these libraries when we went walking. During the pandemic many people converted their libraries from books to food and puzzle trade boxes which was also fun.

What is a Little Free Library:

A Little Free Library is a “take a book, share a book” free book exchange. They come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share. Little Free Library book exchanges have a unique, personal touch. There is an understanding that real people are sharing their favorite books with their community; little libraries have been called “mini-town squares.”

We set up our own Little Library a while back and have now added a geocache to our library. The cache is a clear plastic tube attached to the ceiling of the box with Velcro. Feel free to browse the books while you are here.
