Encore Melaka
This performing art theatre was open at 2018, located fairly close to the Straits of Melaka. It's mainly to showcase Melaka-themed cultural song and dance performance. The show was created by Impression Wonders Arts Development Co Ltd, a company which was involved in the Beijing Olympics opening and closing ceremony. Occasionally, the theatre venue would be use for hosting other performances and events organized by external companies.
The exterior skin of the building is fully covered in white porcelain tiles and hint of blue porcelain tiles. The tiles are arranged like fish scales, making it a great background for taking photo.
Part of the structure consist of geometric concaved arcs that made out of LED panels. They reflects the sky during the day and light up during the night, especially when there's a show/event happening.
Another unique aspect about this theatre is that the 2,000 seat auditorium rotates 360 degrees enabling the audience to face multiple stages from close up.
The cache
Visitor parking is pay per entry, with 15mins grace period. If swift enough, you can save the parking fees. Cache is magnetic and hidden behind the fish scales.
