WELCOME TO PINNAROO
Pinnaroo, the hub of the mallee nestled 6 km from the Victorian border is a popular place to stop by for truckies and families alike. But did you know that Pinnaroo, while located in a dry desert-like Mallee actually has wetlands? Well now you do!
The idea for this cache came after we had discovered all of the caches in Pinnaroo and thought that the town needed more to highlight the wonderful things Pinnaroo actually has to offer. One of such things is the wetlands. Developed in 2010 and ongoing today, it has become a habitat for many birds and a popular picnic and event venue.
