Geocache Description:


This is a very nice area within Elliðaárdalur with a wooden troll that was placed in 2019.  It is also located very close to the small waterfall Búr­foss which is very popular during warm summer days.

Parking is available at Elliðaárstöðin which is an old power station but nowadays offers many tours through the valley and hosts events and exhibitions. Recently they also opened a small cafe there. More information about Elliðaárstöðin is available here: https://ellidaarstod.is/
