The cache is located just off the Cultural Trail in downtown Indianapolis at the memorial to Abrahan Lincoln pictured above. This is a heavily traveled area for people and vehicles of all kinds which will certainly add to the challenge. However, it was hidden during rush hour so it is possible to find without sticking out too much.
The memorial can easily be walked or biked to from anywhere downtown using the Cultural Trail. There is also a Red Line stop only a few hundred feet away with busses running every 15 minutes every day of the week. And lastly there is street parking and garages all around the cache area and even some loading zones that may work if you're quick.
Since this cache is close to the road and a bike trail, be sure to keep an eye on children and pets so they don't step where they shouldn't. The cache is not in any of the plants surrounding the memorial so please do not disturb them or step into the landscaped areas during your search. Also note that there are no special tools required for this cache except maybe tweezers to get the log out. PLEASE NOTE THE LID OF THE CACHE REQUIRES A GENTLE TWIST OFF TO AVOID DAMAGING IT. If you are having trouble finding it, feel free to message me and I'll get you on the right track!
