Headed out for a walk today with out Grandson and ended up at the top of Mt Barrett in the Rai Valley.
The track starts at the local war memorial and signs point you in the right direction at intervals as you head to the top. Whilst uphill, the track is not too steep and our 4 year old made the trip up and down with no worries. With all the pine needles on the ground you did need to watch your footing a bit and the last stretch was a bit prickly with the track going through the gorse and blackberry. At the top is a trig and a bit of a view.
You will need to take a pen with you as it's a long way back to the car to get one.
